JE’S KOALATY SEASONINGS
JE’s Koalaty Seasonings became available as of July 2019. Originally, the recipe was crafted in hopes of creating a home made chicken salt for Aussies in the UK to have on their chips. (ITS MASSIVE DOWN UNDER!) Since then it has received amazing reviews on all different types of foods. Even eggs and avocado! Not only are we going to take the chippie business by storm, but the whole seasoning world too!
ABOUT US - THE FOUNDERS
The moment it all began....
Hi there! A very warm welcome to our Koalaty Seasonings page from Elliott Ronto (left) and James Aldous (right). We have known each other now since 2016 and since then became the best of mates. How it all began you may ask? WELL it all began at work... BUT FIRST, a bit about us.
We come from a hospitality background and it’s how we met. James has been a chef in multiple Michelin Star restaurants and since then been a head chef and also a manager of 2 nightclubs in Essex and London. I (Elliott) have travelled over to England from Australia to pursue my dreams to play professional football and to someday own my own business when I retire. I have been in hospitality myself for 10 years bartending at social clubs and night clubs.
So one day, we were working together and I said to James “I have this ledge idea” I told him how there was no ‘chicken salt’ over here in England and I said it was the best thing EVER to go on hot chips out in Australia. I Showed him this basic recipe to work off. It took batch after batch to create the finished product. When we tasted the final product we looked at each other and nodded with smiles on our faces... We knew it was the one. We started handing out samples after perfecting the recipe, then spent a whole day trying to work out a name and a logo. Each time we completed a little task, the idea of ‘making it an actual business’ was becoming a reality. The rest is history! Turns out that we have a handy little seasoning/salt that all our family and friends recommend at a high regard. We are ready to show the rest of England and even the rest of the world our little creation that we hope to make into a big brand in the future!
